Hypnosis for weight loss supports a shift into a healthy mindset that supports healthy ideas, beliefs and behaviors. Subconscious creation of this mindset encourages weight loss success. All too often we try to lose weight through will power and force change at a surface level. When we create change from a “surface” perspective we are relying on “steam” which sooner or later runs out.
Unlike hypnosis willpower always eventually fades away. It takes too much energy to keep willpower fueled. Willpower is like a gas tank that must be kept on full. That can be emotionally, physically and spiritually draining. Relying on willpower to effect change creates internal conflict.
Weight loss hypnosis to create change at a deep meaningful level takes work too, but a different kind of work. Working with the subconscious mind can be enlightening, empowering and energizing when you have a road map. This program is a cost-effective road map for anyone interested in engaging their subconscious mind in a journey towards a healthy weight.
The six week healthy weight program was developed by myself, Terri Cooper. This program grew out of the need to serve individuals who come in for sessions from out of town and out of province. This program is an affordable way to provide a solid foundation for anyone who is interested in the use of hypnosis toward a healthy weight. If you are either unable to attend regular sessions or unable to afford face to face session then this program covers a good range of the needs that have surfaced from clients over the years.
Much of the program draws on my work in the last six years and from the doctorate project I completed which explored the clear link between the use of hypnosis to address stress hormones in relation to weight gain.
